Earning Tips

- You may not have the greatest job in Walt Disney World. Try to find ways to make the most of it. If you make yourself completely miserable at work, you probably won't make it through the Program.

- If you work a 40-hour week, you will find yourself clearing $130 or so, after rent is taken out.

- Pack a lunch to take to work with you. It's more convenient than waiting for lunch at the cafeteria, and it will save you a ton of money.

- If you have the opportunity, shadow your manager for a day to see the inner workings of your department.

- Be careful how many times you call in sick. Make sure you understand the points system. Too many points (lates, call-ins, etc.) in 30 days could result in termination.

- Get to work early. Most jobs require that you are dressed and ready to work at your scheduled time.

- If you have the opportunity, work overtime at another park or resort. It's always nice to have a change.
